Children's Dental FunZone is seeking a Certified Dental Assistant to join our pediatric practice on a full-time basis. Position involves assisting the dentist, taking radiographs, reviewing medical histories, and educating patients on oral care while supporting a fun, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Radiation - X-Ray Certificate required.
• Infection Control certification required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various treatment procedures.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
• Review patients' medical history and take blood pressure and pulse.
• Provide pre/post-op instructions for oral care after surgery or dental treatments.
• Teach patients oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health.
• Take impressions of teeth for study casts.
• Complete pre-op/post-op x-rays for necessary insurance purposes.
• Chart and enter treatments into Dentrix Ascend software.
• Must be able to work Saturdays.
