Job summary

Children's Dental FunZone in California is seeking a Certified Dental Assistant to join our pediatric practice. This full-time role includes Mon-Fri 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Sat 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM, with an hourly rate of $18.00 - $23.00 depending on experience.

Responsibilities include assisting the dentist during procedures, taking radiographs, reviewing medical history, and teaching patients oral hygiene. Benefits, growth opportunities, and monthly bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• Radiation - X-Ray Certificate.
• Infection Control.
• CPR/BLS.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various treatment procedures.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
• Review patients' medical history and take blood pressure and pulse.
• Provide pre/post-op instructions for oral care after surgery or dental treatments.
• Teach patients oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health.
• Take impressions of teeth for study casts.
• Complete pre-op/post-op x-rays for necessary insurance purposes.
• Chart and enter treatments into Dentrix Ascend software.
