Job summary

Children's Dental FunZone is seeking a Certified Dental Assistant to join our pediatric-focused practice. The ideal candidate will assist dentists during procedures, take radiographs, review medical histories, and provide post-care instructions.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Dental Assistant or completed schooling as a Dental Assistant.
• Radiation X-Ray Certification.
• Infection Control Certification.
• CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various treatment procedures.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
• Review patients' medical history and take blood pressure and pulse.
• Provide pre/post-op instructions for oral care after procedures.
• Teach patients oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health.
• Take impressions for study models.
• Enter treatments into the practice management software.

Full-time: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Sat 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $23.00 ( Depending on experience ) Benefits + Monthly Bonuses

Job Duties:

• Assist the dentist during various treatment procedures.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
• Review patients' medical history and take blood pressure and pulse.
• Provide pre/post-op instructions for oral care after surgery or dental treatments.
• Teach patients oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health.
• Take impressions of teeth for study casts.
• Complete pre-op/post-op x-rays for necessary insurance purposes.
• Chart and enter treatments into Dentrix Ascend software.
• Must be able to work Saturdays.
