Smile Programs is seeking a Dental Assistant for the Michigan Dental Outreach program in Kalamazoo, MI. You will support school-based mobile dental care, preparing rooms, assisting the team, and helping underserved children during a typical school-day schedule.

Role emphasizes working with children, transporting to nearby schools, and utilizing portable X-ray and digital radiography equipment. Training and a collaborative, family-friendly environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Must meet State requirements to operate X rays
• CPR certification
• Min. of 1 year working experience as a Dental Assistant
• Digital X-ray Imaging experience
• Patient Charting
• Valid driver license, reliable transportation and a willingness to travel to schools in nearby counties
• Works well with children
• Team player and able to work on a small team
• Setting up and breaking down equipment: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
