Responsibilities

• Assist with oral health management of all patients; be a team player.
• Verify patient identity prior to treatment and chart initials.
• Obtain oral health assessment for each patient (new-baseline/follow-up).
• Review medical history and pertinent oral health information.
• Provide oral hygiene services including prophylaxis, sealants and fluoride.
• Provide dental assistance as directed by the dentist.
• Deliver oral health education and counseling to patients.
