Job summary

Children’s Dental FunZone is seeking an excellent Dental Assistant to join our pediatric practice and support a fun, growth‑oriented team. Full-time hours Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM–2:00 PM; hourly rate $20.00–$23.00 with benefits and monthly bonuses.

You will assist during procedures, take X-rays, review medical history, teach oral hygiene, take impressions, and document treatments in Dentrix Ascend, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

Dental Assistant schooling or office experience is required.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various treatment procedures.
Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
Review patients' medical history and monitor blood pressure and pulse.
Provide pre/post-operative instructions for oral care after procedures.
Teach patients oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health.
Take impressions of teeth for study casts.
Complete pre-op/post-op x-rays for insurance purposes.
Chart and enter treatments into Dentrix Ascend software.
Must be able to work Saturdays.
