Job summary

Kids Dental Brands, Ohio Kids Denal (Maumee) family practice, seeks a compassionate Dental Assistant to support dentists chairside, process X-rays, sterilize instruments, and educate families on oral health. You will contribute to a kid-friendly, high-quality care environment and play a vital role in patient comfort and treatment success.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Ohio Radiology Certification is required.
• Experience in pediatric dental settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work chairside with dentists to support high-quality patient care.
• Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays).
• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Assist with procedures including impressions, extractions, and fillings.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene (brushing, flossing, nutrition).
• Review medical histories, take vitals (blood pressure and pulse), and update records.
• Help children feel comfortable and confident before, during, and after treatment.
• Provide post-treatment care instructions to patients and families.
