Job summary

Ohio Kids Dental (Hamilton) is seeking a dental assistant to join a kid-focused practice under Kids Dental Brands. You’ll work chairside with dentists, assist with X-rays, sterilize instruments, and support procedures while educating families on oral hygiene.

The role emphasizes creating a welcoming environment for children and families, with a focus on compassionate care and patient comfort. Excellent team collaboration and opportunities for growth are offered.

• Current CPR Certification
• Ohio Radiology Certification

Responsibilities

• Work chairside with dentists to support high-quality patient care
• Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays)
• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Assist with procedures including impressions, extractions, and fillings
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene (brushing, flossing, nutrition)
• Review medical histories, take vitals (blood pressure and pulse), and update records
• Help children feel comfortable and confident before, during, and after treatment
• Provide post-treatment care instructions to patients and families
