Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be CPR and X-ray certified.
• 2–3 years of dental assisting experience; CDA preferred.
• At least one year of experience with electronic health records.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards, aseptic procedures, HIPAA, sterilization, and infection control.
• Professional appearance and strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing assignments; works well independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist students and faculty chairside.
• Maintain supply levels and organize operatories.
• Support sterilization processes and DUWL upkeep.
• Participate in staff and departmental meetings.
• Provide feedback on supply usage and cost-saving opportunities.
• Attend continuing education and maintain CPR certification.
