Job summary

Jamboree Pediatric Dentistry in Houston is seeking a friendly Pediatric Dental Assistant who enjoys working with children and families. You will assist the doctor, prepare rooms, take digital x-rays, and help manage patient records.

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; pediatric experience a plus but not required. We offer training, a supportive team, and opportunities for growth; schedule is Mon-Thu 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM, Fri 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM, two Saturdays per month.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
• Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to patient education and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor during pediatric dental procedures.
• Create a fun, welcoming experience for every child and family.

What You'll Do:

• Assist the doctor during pediatric dental procedures.
• Help create a fun, positive, and welcoming experience for every child and family.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Take digital x‑rays and assist with charting and patient records.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and home care.
• Work collaboratively with our clinical team to provide exceptional care.

What We're Looking For:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Dental assisting experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience is a plus, but not required.
• A positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Dependable, flexible, and eager to learn.
• Passion for working with children and families.
• Current RDA and X‑ray certification (or required state credentials).

Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM.
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM.
• Two Saturdays per month: 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM.
