Job summary

Jamboree Pediatric Dentistry in Houston is seeking a friendly Dental Assistant who loves working with children and values teamwork. If you thrive in a supportive, growth‑driven environment, we’d love to meet you.

You will assist the pediatric dentist during procedures, prepare rooms, take digital x‑rays, and educate families on oral hygiene. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; pediatric experience is welcome.

Qualifications

• RDA certification and X-ray certification (or state credentials)
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Pediatric dental experience is a plus but not required
• Excellent communication and patient care mindset

Responsibilities

We’re looking for a Dental Assistant who enjoys working with children, values teamwork, and is committed to providing exceptional patient care.

Whether you already have pediatric experience or are an experienced dental assistant looking to transition into pediatrics, we provide the support and training to help you succeed.

What You’ll Do

• Assist the doctor during pediatric dental procedures.
• Help create a fun, positive, and welcoming experience for every child and family.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Take digital x-rays and assist with charting and patient records.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and home care.
• Work collaboratively with our clinical team to provide exceptional care.

What We’re Looking For

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Dental assisting experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience is a plus, but not required.
• A positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Dependable, flexible, and eager to learn.
• Passion for working with children and families.
• Current RDA and X‑ray certification (or required state credentials).

Schedule

• Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM.
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM.
• Two Saturdays per month: 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM.
