Job summary

Jamboree Pediatric Dentistry seeks a Dental Assistant who enjoys working with children and thrives in a supportive, team-oriented setting. The role focuses on assisting during pediatric procedures, keeping rooms prepared and sterile, and helping families with oral hygiene education to build healthy habits that last a lifetime.

Experience is welcome but not required; bilingual candidates are preferred, and RDA/X-ray credentials are expected or state equivalents held.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Dental assisting experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience is a plus, but not required.
• Current RDA and X-ray certification (or required state credentials).

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor during pediatric dental procedures.
• Create a fun, welcoming experience for every child and family.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Take digital x-rays and assist with charting and patient records.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and home care.
• Work collaboratively with our clinical team to provide exceptional care.

What You'll Do

• Assist the doctor during pediatric dental procedures.

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Take digital x-rays and assist with charting and patient records.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and home care.

What We're Looking For

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Dental assisting experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience is a plus, but not required.
• A positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Dependable, flexible, and eager to learn.
• Passion for working with children and families.
• Current RDA and X-ray certification (or required state credentials).

Schedule

Monday Thursday: 8:30 AM 6:30 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM 3:00 PM
Two Saturdays per month: 7:30 AM 2:30 PM
