Job summary

Jamboree Pediatric Dentistry in Houston is seeking a dedicated bilingual dental assistant to join our pediatric team. You’ll assist the doctor during procedures, prepare rooms, take digital x-rays, and help educate families on oral care.

Pediatric experience is a plus, but we provide training to help you succeed. We emphasize teamwork, growth, and a supportive environment with a schedule of Mon-Thu and rotating Saturdays, plus competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Dental assisting experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience is a plus, but not required.
• Current RDA and X-ray certification (or required state credentials).

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor during pediatric dental procedures.
• Create a fun, positive, and welcoming experience for every child and family.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.

Pediatric Dental Assistant

Whether you already have pediatric experience or are an experienced dental assistant looking to transition into pediatrics, we provide the support and training to help you succeed.

What You’ll Do

• Assist the doctor during pediatric dental procedures.
• Help create a fun, positive, and welcoming experience for every child and family.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Take digital x-rays and assist with charting and patient records.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and home care.
• Work collaboratively with our clinical team to provide exceptional care.

What We’re Looking For

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Dental assisting experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience is a plus, but not required.
• A positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Dependable, flexible, and eager to learn.
• Passion for working with children and families.
• Current RDA and X-ray certification (or required state credentials).

Schedule

• Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM.
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM.
• Two Saturdays per month: 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM.
