Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience with at least 6 months in pediatrics.
• BSN degree from an accredited program.
• California RN license.
• Current ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications.
• Preferred: CCRN certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver family-centered pediatric care using the nursing process.
• Direct and coordinate nursing care per established clinical standards.
• Collaborate with patients, families and other professionals across disciplines.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation and reports.
• Adhere to CHOC policies, safety standards and quality initiatives.
