Job summary

Phoenix Children's is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. The role involves caring for acutely ill ICU patients, developing care plans, and presenting them to the medical team.

The APP performs advanced procedures and collaborates with multidisciplinary colleagues in an inpatient setting. The ideal candidate has ICU experience as a bedside RN and is prepared to participate in formal and informal education for staff and fellows, with shift work

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate has at least 5 years ICU experience as a bedside RN.
• Experience in an ICU setting and inpatient care is highly valued.
• Licensed independent practitioner (LIP) functioning within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes plans of care for acutely ill ICU patients.
• Performs advanced procedures and coordinates with physicians and teams.
• Educates CVICU staff and participates in division meetings.
• Provides patient- and family-centered care within scope of practice.
