• Forms a family-centered plan of care and documents daily progress, coordinating with the care team.
• Collects data and analyzes patient information to inform treatment decisions.
• Performs advanced procedures as credentialed (e.g., airway management, line placements, chest tube management).
• Utilizes up-to-date evidence-based practices to adapt plans to patient and family needs.
• Serves as an educational resource for families, nursing staff, and trainees.
