Job summary

CHOC Specialists is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) for the Critical Care - CVICU. The APP will care for pediatric cardiac patients within a state-of-the-art CVICU, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and focusing on family-centered care.

Requirements include California licensure as an NP or PA with pediatric CVICU nursing experience and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Two years of bedside nursing in pediatric cardiovascular care.
• California licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose and treat pediatric cardiac patients in the CVICU.
• Develop and implement care plans for postoperative and catheterization cases.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary cardiac team and families.
• Provide education to patients and families.
