Job summary
CHOC Specialists in Orange County is seeking an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join the CVICU. The NP will provide advanced clinical care for critically ill pediatric cardiac patients, perform assessments and treatments, and educate families within a family-centered care environment.
Candidates must be California licensed and board-certified as a Nurse Practitioner with at least two years of bedside nursing in pediatric cardiovascular intensive care and at least one year of clinical
Qualifications
- California licensed and pediatric NP board-certified.
- Experience in pediatric cardiovascular intensive care.
- Excellent communication with families and teams.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose and treat pediatric cardiac patients in the CVICU.
- Develop and implement plans of care and post-operative management.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary cardiac team and educate families.
