Job summary

CHOC Specialists in Orange County is seeking an experienced Pediatric Sub-Specialty Nurse Practitioner for the CVICU. The NP will serve as a clinical expert in pediatric cardiac intensive care within a family-centered environment.

The successful candidate will hold a California NP license and pediatric CVICU experience, with a proven ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and provide education to patients and families.

Qualifications

• California licensed and certified Nurse Practitioner with pediatric cardiovascular experience.
• At least two years of bedside nursing in direct pediatric CVICU care.
• Minimum one year of clinical pediatric NP experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose and treat pediatric cardiac medical and post-procedural patients in CVICU.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary cardiac team and educate families.
• Develop and implement care plans for all CVICU patients.
