Job summary

Boston Children9s Hospital in Needham, MA seeks a Culinary Dietitian to lead culinary medicine and medical nutrition therapy for pediatric care. You will educate patients and families, collaborate with clinical teams, and help develop the Teaching Kitchen program, aligning nutrition science with compassionate care.

You will supervise interns, mentor staff, and contribute to program evaluation, protocol development, and dietary education resources while staying current with culinary nutrition

Qualifications

• 1 year of progressive experience in culinary nutrition and/or clinical dietetics.
• Teaching or educational programming experience preferred.
• Master’s degree preferred in related field.
• Registration by the CDR as a Registered Dietitian.
• Massachusetts licensure as Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages culinary medicine and medical nutrition therapy using evidence-based guidelines.
• Provides patient/family education and presentations to healthcare teams and the community.
• Coordinates daily clinical and culinary medicine patient care per standards of care.
• Mentors and evaluates dietetic interns/students on pediatric rotations.
• Establishes systems to monitor program quality and effectiveness.
• Ensures compliance with accreditation, regulatory, and professional standards.
• Keeps knowledge current in culinary nutrition and integrates findings into practice.
