Job summary

MUHA is seeking a CT Technologist for MUSC to capture high-quality cross-sectional imaging with advanced CT tech, including photon counting CT in South Carolina. You will work in a collaborative radiology team to support accurate diagnosis and patient care.

Applicants should have radiologic technology education, ARRT CT registration within a year, SC licensure, and BLS certification, with 0–2 years of modality experience preferred. Weekend shift availability and on-site work are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• ARRT CT registration must be obtained within 1 year in this position.
• SC licensure in radiologic technology is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.

• Shift Differentials: up to $3.80 per hr (depending on shift)




• Additional pay: (call pay, overtime etc.)

Shift Details:

• Schedule: Weekend Days




• Hours: Fri – Sun, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM




• Call requirements: Participation in the on‑call rotation is required approximately once every three months.




• Holiday expectations: Rotating Schedule

Additional Job Description

Required License Certification and Registration:

Education

Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.

Experience

0 to 2 years of modality specific work experience, at least 1 year of X‑Ray experience.

Required Registration/Certification:

• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R), required.




• ARRT CT Registration must be obtained within 1 year in this position.




• Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.

  
  

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider
