Job summary

Dayton Children’s is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join the Division of Anesthesia in the CAG - APPs at our Main Campus. The CRNA provides pediatric anesthesia under supervision by an Anesthesiologist and uses pre-operative assessments to plan induction, maintenance, and emergence.

Required: BSN, graduation from an accredited AANA program, CRNA certification and Ohio licensure, PALS, and strong communication and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• BSN required; graduate from an accredited program.
• CRNA certification and Ohio licensure required.
• PALS certification.
• strong communication and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric anesthesia services under supervision of a staff Anesthesiologist.
• Develop anesthesia plans based on pre-operative assessments.
• Maintenance and emergence phases of anesthesia for neonatal/pediatric patients.

Education

BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)

CRNA certification

Ohio RN license

PALS certification
