Dayton Children’s is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join the Division of Anesthesia in the CAG - APPs at our Main Campus. The CRNA provides pediatric anesthesia under supervision by an Anesthesiologist and uses pre-operative assessments to plan induction, maintenance, and emergence.
Required: BSN, graduation from an accredited AANA program, CRNA certification and Ohio licensure, PALS, and strong communication and basic computer skills.
Facility: Dayton Children's - Main Campus Department: CAG - APPs Schedule: Part time Hours: 8 Job Details: Department Specific Job Details: This position serves as certified registered anesthestist (CRNA) within the Division of Anesthesia servicing Department of Surgical Services. While a CRNA will always be accountable for any anesthetic he/she performs, all anesthetics performed at DCH will be under the supervision of a staff Anesthesiologist within Children\'s Anesthesia Group, Inc. 'CAG'. The CRNA utilizes specialized knowledge, skill, research and competency acquired through advanced professional training to promote optimum care of patients and families within the neonatal/pediatric population. The CRNA utilizes the pre-operative assessments performed by the supervising staff Anesthesiologist to devise a plan for anesthetic induction, maintenance and emergence.
Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing, graduation from an accredited AANA program, CRNA certification and licensure in the State of Ohio, PALS certification, communication/customer service/basic computer skills, good manual dexterity, and physical/emotional stamina.
PREFERRED: 1-3 years neonatal/pediatric experience
