Cincinnati Children's is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our pediatric anesthesia team. You will provide anesthesia services across diverse settings including the main hospital, surgery centers and imaging labs, contributing to a mission-driven organization renowned for pediatric care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
• Current CRNA certification and Ohio APRN licensure (or eligibility).
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required — comprehensive orientation and support provided.

Responsabilités

• Preoperative Assessment/Evaluation - Conduct preoperative evaluation.
• Equipment - Prepare appropriate equipment for administration of anesthesia. Process involves, but is not limited to, checking machines, appropriate small equipment, blood pressure cuffs, endotracheal tubes, and drugs for the conduit of anesthesia. Report any malfunctioning equipment.
• Intraoperative Clinical Care - Administer anesthesia under supervision of a faculty or staff physician anesthesiologist; monitor vital signs and administer anesthetic drugs.
• Postoperative Follow-up - Conduct postoperative follow-up with attending anesthesiologist; ensure patient stability in PACU and follow-up within 24–48 hours.
• Research - With department approval, direct and/or facilitate research projects; adhere to regulatory requirements.
