Job summary

Dayton Children's is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join the Division of Anesthesia within the Department of Surgical Services. The CRNA will perform anesthetics under the supervision of a staff Anesthesiologist and apply advanced knowledge to neonatal and pediatric patients.

Required: BSN, Ohio CRNA licensure, AANA approved program, and PALS. Preferred: 1–3 years of neonatal/pediatric experience and strong communication/customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required and CRNA certification.
• Ohio license required; PALS certification.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; good computer skills.
• Good manual dexterity and physical/emotional stamina.

Responsibilities

• Work as CRNA within Division of Anesthesia for Surgical Services.
• All anesthesia performed under supervision of staff Anesthesiologist (CAG).
• Develop plan for induction, maintenance and emergence based on pre-operative assessments.
