Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing is required.
• Graduate of a Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
• ACLS and PALS certifications are required/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers safe anesthesia for pediatric patients; discuss anesthesia plan with team.
• Perform pre-operative anesthesia assessments and post-anesthesia evaluations.
• Administer analgesic and anesthetic agents; monitor intraoperative status.
• Manage emergencies and airway support as needed.
• Document thoroughly in the EMR and coordinate with supervising physicians.
