Job summary

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Tennessee seeks a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia care for pediatric patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.

You will be part of the Physician Anesthesiologist/CRNA care team and perform pre-anesthesia assessments. CRNAs participate in professional development, clinical research, quality initiatives, and clinical trials.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing is required.
• Graduate of a Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Education Programs.
• ACLS and PALS certification.

Responsibilities

• Administers safe anesthesia with preparation, monitoring, and records.
• Performs pre-operative and post-operative evaluations and planning.
• Plans and directs in-service educational programs and orientations.
• Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
