Job summary

University Health in Boerne, TX seeks a Registered Nurse to provide pediatric critical care transport by fixed wing, rotor wing and ground ambulance, functioning as a mobile ICU and clinical mentor.

Candidates must have at least two years of recent pediatric critical care, current BLS, PALS and ACLS; NRP within 3 months; completion of a trauma program within six months; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of recent pediatric critical care experience.
• Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS (provider or instructor).
• NRP (provider or instructor) required within 3 months of hire.
• Completion of a nationally recognized trauma program within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care and safe transport to pediatric patients via fixed wing, rotor wing and ground ambulance.
• Serve as a clinical role model, resource, and mentor for colleagues.
• Utilize guidelines to function as a mobile intensive care unit.
