Job summary

University Health in Boerne, TX seeks a Registered Nurse to provide pediatric critical care transport by fixed wing, rotor wing and ground ambulance, functioning as a mobile ICU and clinical mentor.

Candidates must have at least two years of recent pediatric critical care, current BLS, PALS and ACLS; NRP within 3 months; completion of a trauma program within six months; BSN preferred.

EDUCAION/EXPERIENCE

Registered nurse with a minimum of two years of recent pediatric critical care experience. Required BLS, PALS, and ACLS (provider or instructor). NRP (provider or instructor) required within 3 months of hire. Completion of a nationally recognized trauma program within six months of hire. BSN preferred.

LICENSURE

Current license from the Board of Nurse Examiners of the State of Texas to practice as a Registered Nurse is required. Professional certification such as CFRN, CTRN, CCRN, CPEN, or C-NPT required within six months of hire.
