Job summary

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Florida (or Multi‑State Compact) and active credentials.
• PALS, ACLS, BLS, NRP, FEMA IC S100/200 with required timelines.
• Trauma/TNCC/PHTLS/ITLS within 6 months; CFRN/ CCRN/ CNPT within 18 months.
• Minimum 2000 hours Neonatal Level II/III experience within two years.
• Minimum 4 years acute care nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicate patient progress, critical findings, and changes in condition with physicians and care teams.
• Complete nursing assessments, admission history, and discharge planning.
• Document and ensure comprehensive admission history including spiritual, cultural, educational, and psychosocial needs.
• Delegate nursing care based on staff qualifications and competency.
• Reassess patients per policy and plan updates as care changes.
• Collaborate with disciplines to plan and document safe, efficient care.
• Educate patient/family about health needs and discharge instructions.
