Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking an experienced Transport RN to support inter-facility transfers for high-acuity pediatric and neonatal patients. You will participate in critical care transport by ambulance or fixed-wing aircraft, delivering continuity of care and advanced nursing support.

The role requires CCRN or equivalent critical care certification, Florida RN license, and strong assessment/leadership skills. Night shifts and cross-functional teamwork are integral to the position.

Qualifications

• Accredited program: Registered Nurse (Required).
• ACLS/BLS/PALS/NRP certifications required or in process.
• CCRN certification preferred; CCRN/Critical Care Nursing is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Implements patient population specific interventions based on individual patient needs.
• Evaluates effectiveness of care and care coordination progressing patients toward desired outcomes.
• Organizes coordinates and prioritizes nursing care activities considering the needs of the patient.
• Provides for a safe environment and safe delivery of care.
• Assesses the physical psychological social and cultural dimensions of patients according to professional practice standards and institutional policy/procedure.
• Demonstrates leadership in the delivery of patient care.
