Job summary

Banner University Medical Center Tucson is seeking a Pediatric Critical Care Resource RN to support the PICU, NICU, and Hematology/Oncology units. This role participates in continuous learning and expands skillsets through quarterly goal planning with management. Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00PM–7:30AM) with weekend rotations and applicable weekend differential.

Qualifications

• RN with pediatric critical care experience preferred.
• Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care.
• Strong communication with patients, families and team.
• Ability to coordinate care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan care in collaboration with team.
• Develop discharge plans and realistic goals with patient/family.
• Direct nursing care per physician orders and hospital policy.
• Delegate tasks and supervise care provided by staff.
• Document care, interventions and patient response accurately.
