Qualifications

• APAP-approved Physician Assistant program graduate and NCCPA certified with Colorado license.
• ACLS and PALS certification required prior to start date.
• BSN with APN licensure and MSN for ACNP track; prescriptive authority within one year of start date.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through general ward pediatrics, PICU, pulmonary, oncology, cardiology, and electives.
• Provide patient care as a credentialed provider under an attending physician.
• Gather history, perform exams, and conduct developmental assessments.
• Communicate pertinent patient information to the on-call attending and care team.
• Round daily and collaborate with health care team to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Document daily data and monitor patient responses and outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement and/or research activities.
• Complete didactic work, fellowship curriculum, simulations and capstone project.
