Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks an Open Rank: Instructor of Clinical Practice - Sr. Instructor of Clinical Practice for the Pediatric Hospital Medicine section.

The APP will provide direct inpatient care for pulmonary and general pediatrics, work with multidisciplinary teams, and participate in discharge planning and education across CHCO Anschutz sites. The role includes day and nocturnist shifts, with potential cross-coverage and relocation between CHCO facilities.

Qualifications

• PA program graduation and NCCPA certification required.
• Colorado license must be obtained before start date.
• BLS and PALS certifications required.
• Open rank: rank determined by experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct inpatient care for pediatric pulmonary and complex discharge planning.
• Provide general pediatric inpatient care across age ranges.
• Work independently within the multidisciplinary team to manage varied pediatric conditions.
• Perform history/physicals and determine treatment plans.
• Coordinate discharge planning with case managers and other staff.
• Nocturnist coverage for PHM complex pulmonary and TRACK teams.
