Qualifications

• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) in North Carolina.
• Board certification if required by the department; DEA.
• Demonstrated clinical competency and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Clinical: obtain health histories and perform exams; develop differential diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Education: educate patients and families; develop educational materials and provide instruction to staff.
• Leadership: precept and participate in rounds, trainings, and outreach programs.
