Job summary

Kid Clan Services, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our pediatric therapy team.

In a facility-based setting, you will support licensed therapists by implementing individualized treatment plans and helping children achieve their therapy goals. You will work with families and educational teams to promote participation in daily activities, document progress, and ensure care aligns with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant required.
• NBCOT certification current and active.
• State licensure or eligible for licensure as a COTA.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to enhance fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-regulation.
• Engage children in therapeutic play to promote social interaction, communication, and cognitive development.
• Utilize equipment and assistive devices to support independence in daily activities and school tasks.
• Collaborate with families and educational teams to integrate goals into daily routines and home/community settings.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and outcomes in compliance with regulations.
• Communicate progress and coordinate care with parents, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
