Family of Kidz in Long Island, NY is seeking a Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for school-age caseloads across Nassau County. The position supports OT services in school districts, with part-time hourly status and potential for full-time hours.

Responsibilities include designing interventions with OTR/L, conducting re-evaluations, data collection on IEP goals, and coordinating with school teams and families.

• Collaborate with OTR/L to design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up occupational therapy re-evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators regarding case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedules with assigned families/school personnel.
• Collect data on each IEP goal and report progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
