JEWELS Therapy Clinic in Pikesville, MD is hiring a Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our pediatric therapy team. This role focuses on building independence, fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills in children, under the supervision of licensed OTs and in collaboration with SLPs and other specialists.

• Maryland Occupational Therapy Assistant license active or eligible
• NBCOT COTA credential
• Reliable commute to Pikesville, MD 21208 or willingness to relocate
• Passion for working with children and families
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsabilidades

• Carry out individualized occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Provide therapy focused on fine motor development, sensory processing, self-care, daily living skills, and functional independence
• Track patient progress and share updates with supervising therapists
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Adjust treatment activities based on each child's needs and progress
• Partner with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Coach families and caregivers on home strategies and carryover
• Create an engaging, encouraging environment for children and families
