Job summary

The Recruiting Hive in Greensboro, AL is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Clinic-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our outpatient therapy team under the supervision of a Licensed OTR. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program.
• Active (or eligible for) COTA license from the Alabama State Board of Occupational Therapy.
• Current NBCOT certification and Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification.
• Experience in a pediatric clinic, outpatient therapy setting, or early intervention is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal communication, patience, and knowledge of pediatric development and sensory integration techniques.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted pediatric occupational therapy interventions in a clinic setting.
• Utilize clinic space and sensory gym activities to build functional skills.
• Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary team members for home programs and strategies.
• Document progress toward milestones and assist with re-evaluations and updates.
• Maintain clinic equipment and tailor setup to each child's needs.
• Explain activities to families and provide home strategies for progress.
