Job summary

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse II or III for the Complex Care Center. This full-time, 32-hour/week role focuses on pediatric patients with complex, chronic conditions in a non-acute ambulatory setting.

The RN will provide patient- and family-centered care, perform assessments, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and educate families on home care needs. Strong clinical judgment and care coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate/Diploma prepared RN with 2+ years of clinical nursing experience (minimum).
• Active Ohio RN License; may require multi-state licensure.
• BSN degree preferred; required enrollment if no BSN at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients with complex, chronic conditions.
• Coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams and programs.
• Support patients with tracheostomies, ventilators, and G-tubes; manage medical technologies.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on disease management and home care needs.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure continuity of care and optimal outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice.
