Job summary

Cincinnati Children's Office of Academic Affairs and Career Development seeks a Registered Nurse II or III for the Complex Care Center at our Main Campus. The role provides high-quality, patient- and family-centered care for medically complex children in a non-acute ambulatory setting.

You will coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams, manage technologies like tracheostomies and G-tubes, and educate families for home care. Strong clinical judgment and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate/Diploma prepared RN with 2+ years of experience.
• Active Ohio RN License; may require other state licensure.
• Minimum 5 years of recent, relevant clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients with complex, chronic conditions.
• Coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams and conduct clinical assessments/triage.
• Support patients with complex medical technologies and home care needs.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on disease management and home care.
• Collaborate with providers and specialists to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice.
• Handle office duties and phone triage responsibilities.
