Maryville Academy is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Day Shift at the Children’s Healthcare Center in Chicago, IL. The role provides direct patient care to pediatric clients under the supervision of a licensed nurse, following state guidelines.

Requirements include graduating from a certified nurse aide program, IL CNA registration, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license. Prior pediatric hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of certified/basic nurse’s aide program.
• Must be currently registered as an Illinois nurse’s aide.
• CPR certification required.
• Pediatric hospital experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist patients with hygiene and toileting needs.
• Assist with transfers, lifting, and positioning.
• Aid with feeding and activities; observe patient status.
• Record vital signs and intake/output as directed by nurse.
• Ensure linen and patient items are maintained.
• Transport patients in Maryville van as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
