Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC invites you to join Tampa Bay's premier pediatric skilled nursing team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Pediatrics. This full-time day shift (7A-7P) offers opportunities to develop pediatric expertise in a supportive, child-focused environment and to participate in coordinated care for medically complex children.

As a CNA, you will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health status, document changes, and collaborate with nurses to ensure safety

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical support to assist residents with daily living activities (lifting, transfers, bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, vital signs).
• Observe and document health, behavior, and condition changes, reporting promptly to the nurse.
• Respond to resident calls and ensure timely assistance.
• Promote safety and infection control per facility guidelines.
• Communicate with nurses about patient conditions, changes, and concerns.
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Meet federal and state in-service requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
