Job summary

Proactive MD is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support clinical and clerical operations at our Colorado health center. You will assist providers, perform tests and document patient encounters under supervision, contributing to our Patient Promise to always put the patient first.

Responsibilities include drawing blood, measuring vitals, preparing exam rooms, handling basic clerical tasks, coordinating supplies, and ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with pediatric patients.
• Ability to draw blood.
• Knowledge of HIPAA.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with treatments ordered by provider under supervision.
• Interviews patients, measures vitals, and records information.
• Performs basic clerical duties including answering phones and filing.
• Maintains supplies and a clean, orderly environment.
• Documents encounters and transcribes orders as indicated.
