Job summary

MUSC Summey Medical Pavilion in Charleston, SC, is seeking a PRN CMA/LPN to support pediatric ambulatory care. You will assist in examinations, take vital signs, document in patient records, and prepare exam rooms under physician supervision.

Position involves 8-hour shifts on a PRN basis, with after-hours/weekend coverage as needed. Prior certification and BLS are required, with ongoing competencies maintained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• Completion of accredited medical assisting program, preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, certification preferred or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in examination and treatment of pediatric patients under physician direction.
• Interview patients, measure vitals, and input data into medical records.
• Prepare treatment rooms for examination and support after-hours clinic operations.
