The Medical University of South Carolina's MUSC Children's Health seeks a Certified Medical Assistant I to support outpatient clinic operations at Summey Medical Pavilion. You will assist in examinations, take vital signs, and prepare treatment rooms to support a patient-centered approach.

Under RN supervision, you will document in the medical record, coordinate care, and help ensure efficient clinic flow. A high school diploma, completion of a medical assisting program, and BLS are required or

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program with one year of patient care experience preferred.
• Certification through AMT/AAMA/NHA/MedCA as CCMA/CMA/NAHP/NCCT.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification or Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers is required.

Responsabilidades

• Assists in examination and treatment of patients under physician direction.
• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information in the medical record.
• Prepares treatment rooms and supports a decentralized patient-centered approach to care.
• Under supervision, collaborates with care team to ensure efficient clinic flow.
