Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina's Musc Summey Medical Pavilion pediatric clinic seeks a PRN CMA/LPN to support a decentralized, patient-centered care model. You will assist in examinations, take vital signs, and prepare treatment rooms under physician direction.

The role requires high school diploma, completion of an accredited medical assisting program (one year patient care preferred), and current BLS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited medical assisting program preferred.
• One year of patient care experience preferred.
• Current BLS required with ongoing competency maintenance.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in examination and treatment of pediatric patients under physician direction.
• Interview patients and record vital signs and medical history.
• Prepare treatment rooms and assist with procedures.
• PRN requirement to schedule and work at least one 8-hour shift every 6-week schedule period.
