Job summary

Keystone Pediatrics at Keystone Health seeks a compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support pediatric patients in a busy community health setting. Join a dedicated team focused on delivering patient-centered care and coordinating care across services.

The CMA will manage calls, obtain records, track referrals, monitor Lab results, and assist nursing staff in daily rounds. EMR experience and CPR/BLS certification are required; Spanish-speaking skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current CMA credential and CPR/BLS.
• Experience with EMR systems preferred.
• Spanish-speaking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient calls and communications.
• Request and obtain medical records for new patients.
• Coordinate and track referrals.
• Monitor laboratory results and follow-up.
• Process and track medication prior authorizations.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system.
• Assist with patient care and support fellow nursing staff as needed.
• Float to other clinical areas to support operations when necessary.
