Novant Health Child & Adolescent Medical Group - Monroe is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, occasional Saturday coverage 8:00am-12:00pm.

You'll support pediatric patients and collaborate with a caring clinical team to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care. Ideal candidates have pediatric or medical office experience; new graduates are encouraged.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Certification or registration as CMA/CCMA/RMA within 6 months of hire must be obtained.

Aufgaben

• Assist with laboratory compliance, ensuring safety, quality, regulatory, and specimen-handling protocols; support blood collection and diagnostic testing procedures.
• Room patients and prepare them for provider visits.
• Measure and record vital signs accurately.
• Administer vaccines following proper protocols.
• Perform blood work, including finger sticks; venipuncture preferred but not required.
• Collaborate closely with the physician during patient care.
• Assist the RN with managing tasks in the in-basket system.
