Arkansas Children's Hospital is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for Harvey Primary Care Clinic in Rogers, AR. Mon-Fri days, full-time (40 hrs/wk), graduation from accredited MA program and national MA certification/registration required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and completion of accredited medical assistant program.
• Certification as CMA or NCMA or Registered Medical Assistant preferred.
• 1 year healthcare or related MA experience recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provides pediatric clinical support including intake, vitals and growth assessment.
• Administers medications and immunizations under provider order.
• Performs phlebotomy and specimen collection as delegated.
• Conducts point-of-care testing and maintains documentation in Epic.
• Notifies providers of changes in patient condition and supports safety.
• Assists with education for patients and families and clinic flow.
